Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Patrick O’Donovan TD officially launched Science Week 2024, the theme of which is ‘Regeneration’ in Colaiste Ide agus Iosef in Abbeyfeale, last week. . The Minister announced government funding of €809,942 for a variety of events around the country.
In his visit Minister O'Donovan was accompanied by Rebecca Wilson of Research Ireland. They visited several classrooms, speaking to students in particular in the science wing of the school.
