Shakespeare Lives

Colaiste Ide agus Iosef were delighted to be part of the "Shakespeare Lives" travelling exhibition in October. A special display  on actor Kenneth Brannagh and his participation in Shakespeare was on display in GP Area. The school was one of a handful of schools from throughout island of Ireland to get this exhibition in 2107/18.  Students studying Shakepeare in the school got additional material along with  seeing the exhibition and the opportunity to access material specially organised by the British Council.

These resources included #Shakespearenofilters retelling of Romeo and Juliet and a popular mix the play which allowed them to direct two scenes from Shakepeare plays online
